Breakfast with Scot is a Canadian comedy film, currently in production and scheduled for release in 2007.

Adapted from the novel by Michael Downing, the film stars Tom Cavanagh as Sam, a gay retired hockey player turned television sportscaster whose life is turned upside down when he, at first unwillingly, becomes the legal guardian of his brother's stepson Scot (Noah Bernett). Ben Shenkman also stars as Sam's partner Ed, a sports lawyer.

The screenplay was adapted by Sean Reycraft from the book by Michael Downing, and the film is being directed by Laurie Lynd. The film attracted significant press attention in 2006, when the National Hockey League and the Toronto Maple Leafs announced that they had approved the use of the team's logo and name in the film, making it the first gay-themed film ever to receive this type of endorsement from a major league sports franchise.
