Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Neale Monks 10:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't like the word "kiss", think of something that's no longer and no sillier. -- Hoary 13:34, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On this pair of edits by you: You're certainly having a great time on Wikipedia. The problem is that it's an encyclopedia, not a playground. Please either divert your considerable energies to a blog, or edit constructively. -- Hoary 13:40, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But why can't it stay there? A nice chuckle - one might even say a guffaw - for the editor. Pff. I'll keep my considerable energies on what I do best: helping ankhet and engaging in casual vandalism. --Arkracer 13:46, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 48 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated.Rlevse 16:42, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm so proud! --Arkracer 17:32, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at your logs. Most of your recent edits are indeed vandalism, but some of your older ones are not. That you did them in humor does not matter. This is an encyclopedia, not a comic book. If you want to be funny, do it on the talk pages, not the articles themselves.Rlevse 19:11, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have been funny in talk pages - indeed to a purpose as well - but the villain I call hoary has reverted it. For further reading, look at the history of the talk page on gender-neutral pronouns.--Arkracer 19:18, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I'd like to add that not all comics are funny - some tell a story of mystery and intrigue, while others tell of noble heroes imbued with strange powers warding off villains, often mistaken for villains themselves and so dodging the authorities too. --Arkracer 07:55, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
First, personal attacks, such as calling someone a "villian", are not tolerated on wikipedia. Haory happens to be a highly respected editor too. Your humor is not limited only to talk pages, see [1]. I did look at the gender neutral page. My 48-hr block stands.Rlevse 19:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Loosen up a bit, Rievse: Arkracer is perfectly welcome to call me a villain (and as for the "highly respected" part, I can name a lot of editors in good standing who don't respect me). But yes, go ahead and look at the history of that talk page:
  1. Arkracer adds jocular comment near the top
  2. I move it to the bottom
  3. I reply to it
So what Arkracer says above is untrue. -- Hoary 23:35, 22 September 2007 (UTC)::[reply]
Ahoy-hoy! 'Twould seem that in my flurry of activity I made a bit of a mess in one very vital THING - and that would be the matter of moving or deletion! I assumed, in my haste, that Mr. X had deleted my section on the talk page instead of moving it - and for this I apologise with sympathies as deep as my never-ending sarcasm which as of yet I have been unable to execute in an appropriate time and place in wikipedia!
Yet this is not the meat of my message - no, it is definitely not. The meat of my message (which at this time I'd like to compare with pork for reasons unknown to me) is that my jocular comment did actually have a message, no matter how convoluted it be - and that message is:
Whoah! Lets think of a verb that's groovier than to kiss (if the infinitive is your thing)!
Now, some might cluck or otherwise make known their displeasement, their disturbedness, their disgust at such garish comments - but I beg (no, plead!) to differ! I think that if there's one thing wikipedia needs more of (besides vandilism of the chicken page, in respect to the greatest web-comic there has or will be) it's humourous or otherwise silly comments in the talk pages! Spread the word! Tell your kids if you have any, and if you don't tell someone else's kids! Inform your grandparents, let your friends be aware, and never relent in this never-ending quest! Go forth, my warriors, and complete the task I have set you! --Arkracer 07:52, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
