A chaser can be:

Shipping

  • In the form bow chaser or stern chaser, naval cannons pointing forward or aft and used in ship chases
  • A ship which chases another
  • A small, light, usually single-seated aeroplane of great speed and climbing power, used in repelling hostile aircraft
  • A person who produces weapons, mainly for war.

Slang

  • Someone who is not a bear, chubby, or otter (slim, hairy gay man), but is sexually or romantically attracted to them
  • One who chases women, a woman-chaser
  • One who chases transsexuals, a tranny chaser
  • A frequent user of crack-cocaine (circa 1990s)
  • A prison guard
  • Either an item of food or a non or lesser alcoholic drink that is consumed immediately after drinking a more potent liquor, to dull the harsh taste of the alcohol
