"The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage" is a song by Panic! at the Disco, sometimes shortened to "The Only Difference..." for radio. The song was composed by guitarist Ryan Ross for the band's debut album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005) and is the album's first single. No music video was filmed and no commercial single was released.

The title is taken from Chuck Palahniuk's 1999 novel Survivor.[2]
