Untitled

Exclusive is the second studio album by Chris Brown. The album was originally going to be titled Graduation, but was renamed due to rapper Kanye West's album going by the same name. The album was originally scheduled to be released August 28 2007, but was pushed back to October 30, 2007, then pushed back even further to its final release date of November 6.[1][2][3]

History

In an interview with MTV Brown stated the following,

I am still going to keep it so my younger fans can continue to listen to my music, but I got a couple of joints on there that's for some of the older people.[4]

He also stated that he hopes to work with Michael Jackson among other artists such as The Game, Tank, T-Pain, and more.[1] Among those featured guests, Brown will also have production from Bryan Michael Cox, Dre & Vidal, Jazze Pha, Scott Storch and more.[3] Brown's third single off the album will be "With You." To be released next year are the third & fourth singles; which are Picture Perfect ft. will.i.am and Damage.

The first single, which was "Wall to Wall" garnered minor success compared to Brown's previous singles. The track was produced by Swizz Beatz and Sean Garrett. Chris Brown confirmed in a 106 & Park appearance that the second single is "Kiss Kiss", which features and is produced by T-Pain.[1][3] Recently leaked songs "Miss You" featuring Johnta Austin and "Hood Ridin'" were not featured on the album. "Fallen Angel," produced by Bryan Michael Cox and confirmed on Chris Brown's MySpace page, will be a bonus track only for UK purchasers.

The album was released on the internet via MTV.com's The Leak on October 30.

Sales

The album debuted at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 294,000 copies in its first week.[5]
