License tagging for Image:Fbanner.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Fbanner.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot (talk) 07:06, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1st Hamrun Scout Group

I appreciate your contribution to the Malta article; however, the content you added does not belong there, for the simple reason that it is not significant enough. An article on Malta should only give a broad perspective on the country - even the Roman Catholic church, one of the most influential entities on the island, only gets a brief mention. Imagine what would happen if all Maltese groups, clubs and associations were to include their defining moments - the article would no longer be readable. You should refer to the guideline on conflicts of interest and how to avoid them. I noticed that you also added the same content to the Ħamrun page, which might be more acceptable. However, try to reword the Scouts Website sectopm using an encyclopaedic tone, rather than a promotional one. CounterFX (talk) 16:50, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May i refer to your recent message particularly the following quote;

However, try to reword the Scouts Website sectopm using an encyclopaedic tone, rather than a promotional one.

Be aware that in my articles i am talking about Scouts, which have the following mission;

to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

Secondly you should also notice that we are only voluntary therefore i will get no cash in return for anything i do.

Hence i think that by doing so i am still in line with the rules of wikipedia and will continue to promote our organisation worldwide.

Thanks for your message and may i remind you that you can contribute to our good cause by sending articles or telling us about your ideas on info@hamrunscouts.com .
