Why does it have a centre-left slant? I haven't seen any evidence of this. In fact the first editor was the former chief of staff to Liberal Premier [John Olsen].

I agree. I have checked a few other Australian newspapers and couldn't find another with a political allegiance stated. Therefore I will remove it.

Does having articals of "critical and intellectual substance" make you center-left? I say it goes.
