This is an old revision of this page, as edited by AndyZ (talk | contribs) at 16:47, 8 December 2007 (→‎Wormshill: section stubs?). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

I'm self-nominating this article for featured article because it has recently made Good Article status and has passed Peer Review without substantial comment. It satisfies WP:CITIES and I have addressed all barriers (I think) to FA and would like to get editors' feedback as to how to get this to the highest possible standards for Wiki. Comment: It would be nice to have census data, as in Chew Stoke (a recently passed Featured Article) Bluap (talk) 03:15, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Data up to 1921 is available in the Victoria County History, and has been placed online here Bluap (talk) 03:19, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Data up to 1971 is available here (The Vision of Britain site would be a useful source in general for the article) Bluap (talk) 03:25, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done Thanks for these, great idea. I'm pretty sure I've plundered Vision of Britain as much as I can for info on the village and was wary of overdoing the demographic stats but the table is a neat way of presenting the data. Thanks Dick G (talk) 03:49, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I do realize that as a small village, not much can be done about this, but can the numerous section stubs be somehow merged or expanded? For example, as Chew Stoke was brought up, when I had first reviewed it most of the sections had just a couple of sentences, but now is much better. AZ t 16:47, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
