As of 2001 India census,Template:GR Bhainsa had a population of 41,003. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. The land is undoubtedly very fertile and the people are very hard working too. The main source of income is agriculture. Though this town is believed to be most sensitive for riots but the common man of both the communities is a nice gentleman. It was very much influenced for decades by congress and was a strong hold of Congress till the late G. Gaddanna MLA was alive. He was the most senior MLA of Andhra Pradesh and most polite and beloved person for all communities. But unfortunately the entry of the divide and rule masters BJP and MIM in the local politics made the scene worst for the comman man. They both hand in glove sucked the town and as a result of this dirty politics one motorcycle mechanic Mohd. Jabir Ahmed became Chairman for two terms and made immense wealth by robbing the rich and depriving the poor of their properties in the names of road widening or riots but the end came when his own man withdrew support to bring an end to his haram rule resulting in becoming a BC Mr. Gangadhar Chairman. Jabir had started minting money from a scratch and became one of the few rich persons in the district and built a palace in the town, surely one of the best in the district. He owns 5 imported cars and two big businesses apart from other investments.
