I am a good friend of Damon Bruce's and he would like the Larry Krueger references removed. It's been some time since that incident occurred and Damon would like to think he's known for being a host, rather than a replacement.
I was the one who started the original page and the reason why I put the Krueger reference in there was to provide context from that period of time to when Damon took over in regards to the Sportsphone 680 show. Damon is a great broadcaster and I dig listening to him on KNBR. He's definitely his own man and has made the show his own, but people also realize that the job opening wouldn't have occured without the Krueger controversy. Aaronproot
- That Bruce succeeded Krueger in the aftermath of Krueger's widely publicized and controversial firing is certainly relevant to this entry. Even if much more time were to pass and Bruce were to become a nationally known broadcaster, so that any reference to KNBR would be of mere historical significance, a note about Krueger in such reference would still be relevant.--Leftymn 21:23, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
I removed the following because I couldn't find any support for this assertion: "He also cornholes goats in his spare time." Aaronproot —Preceding comment was added at 03:37, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
I removed this today until someone can verify the accuracy of this material: "Bruce is also single and a bachelor. Bruce also spends his time banging goats, sheep and any other livestock he can get his hands on. His favorite movies include Three Men and a Baby, Beaches, and Terminator 2, the last of the three being the most offensive, due to the horrible plot flaws which violate the most basic elements of the space time continuum."
