I reverted your near-blanking of Pacific Swallow. It is not the same as Welcome Swallow

If you need any help on bird articles, let me know - I'm thinking in terms of things like world distribution, author etc, that you might not have to hand. Like the photos. user:jimfbleak

I like the photos you're producing. I've added bits of extra text where I can. If you think of it, when you set up a new species article, can you make sure that there is a lower case redirect. This is part of an agreement with regard to capitalisation of bird species. I've done it for the wattlebird and the teal. Keep up the good work, user:jimfbleak

sounds

I don't think there is a preferred format for sounds in bird articles - there are very few that have any. It's a good idea if the sounds are available. If there is any prob. with formatting, one of the computer-literates like UtherSRG will probably fix it. user:jimfbleak

Thank you for taking action on the contentious issue of using non-OGG sound in Wikipedia. I'm afraid you're in for a lot of flak, but I support your efforts. References across namespaces

Hey, could you not add links to other namespaces in wikipedia articles (like Wikipedia:), you (or someone else) put some links to the wikipedia namespace and i'd appriciate it if you chagned it back.

A Wiki-God (Raul654) has taken control of the sound issues, and has re-written the sound pages. Heaps of people have been hacking away so I'm not sure which problem this might be? --Zarni02 02:20, 31 Jul 2004 (UTC)

It should be mentioned perhaps that i'm not really in this issue (whatever the issue is) Raul asked me to tell you this before he went out of town, supposedly about something – what i dont relly know, anyway he'll probably talk to you at a later date. Image tagging

Hi! Thanks for uploading Image:WelcomeSwallowSmall.jpg and Image:WhiteBelliedSeaEagleSmall.jpg. I notice they currently don't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know their copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release them under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Here for the same thing, in my case on Image:PacificBlackDuck.jpg. Here is a magic list of Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. You probably want the GFDL and/or the Creative Commons and/or PD tags if you're releasing these images to Wikipedia/the world. THANK YOU! :) jengod 20:48, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)

My Willie Wagtail picture can be deleted. The master and guru of Australian bird pictures, User:Tannin, replaced the pictures on the Willie Wagtail page with much much better ones --Zarni02 04:51, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
