Michael Parisi (Born April 18 1983 in Huntington, New York), is a starting right-handed pitcher for the Memphis Redbirds. He was drafted in June 2004 in the 9th round by the St. Louis Cardinals. He also had an invitation to spring training in 2007 and 2008. Mike went to Manhattan College and was a pitcher for the Manhattan College baseball team, the Jaspers. He looks to possibly be a pitcher for the St.Louis Cardinals in the 2008 season. Mike is one of the best prospects in the Cardinals organization. On November 20,2007 , Mike was added to the St. Louis Cardinals 40-man roster in order to keep him from being lost in the rule 5 draft. This just comes to show how much the cardinals value Parisi. The cardinals have lost what once was an outstanding team. Parisi definetly looks like a number 5 starter at this point.
