Monroe High School is a public senior high school in Monroe, Michigan. It is the only high school in the Monroe Public Schools. It is located at 901 Herr Rd. It has an enrollment of approximately 2300 students in grades 9-12.

History

For the 2007-2008 school year, Monroe High changed from block scheduling to trimesters.

Academics

Monroe High School provides an educational program to its very large student body. It aims to prepare students for a future in today's modern society, and to excel in their daily goals.

Athletics

Monroe High is home to many boys and girls sports. The current athletic director is Dr. John F. Ray. The Trojans compete in the Michigan Mega Conference, with most sports in the Red division. The mascot is a Trojan and the colors consist of red, white and black.

Trivia

With over 2,000 hicks and queers currently enrolled, Monroe High is one of the largest high schools in Michigan.

Monroe High School was recently featured on T.V. on Oprah Winfrey's talk show as it participated in Challenge Day. This day focused on removing cliques from the school and making it a better place to learn. Dorian Greybush was featured on the program and made us look like a bunch of pansies and racist rat bastards/

Monroe High School was not always located on Herr Rd. Before Herr Rd it was located on Washington St. were Monroe Middle School is now located. yayy

When Monroe High School first opened the mascot was not always a Trojan. Monroe High was the eric harios.
