Vandalism

I noticed your having a bit of trouble with weirdo vandalism on your Userpage, hope it clears up soon. But apart from that how is your w/e going? Your always going to find some person who makes out everything you do is crap. Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 18:32, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Give him your best Glasgow Kiss lol. Police,Mad,Jack (talk · contribs) 18:40, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Haha

It's ironic that you abbreviate Aberdeen F.C. as AFC, since you also have the WP:WPAFC userbox on your userpage. Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 20:50, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I liked your old userpage better... sort of. Oh noes! Where did all the information go? It couldn't be at User talk:WBOSITG/Userpage or anything... ;) Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 21:05, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It would be really hilarious if you put something like, "Turn to page 46 for the answer." Nousernamesleftcopper, not wood 21:13, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

For cleaning up what 122.162.197.242 (talk · contribs) added to those pages I've worked on. I'm not sure what his problem was, but that's not the way to go about it. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk | Contribs) 21:01, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think what happened is the IP changed to a new user who got that old message. Gonna explain it to them. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk | Contribs) 21:11, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA

Thank you very much for giving your support to my admin application, which recently closed successfully (36/3/1). I hope I can continue to justify the confidence that you have placed in me. If there is any way that I can help out more, please drop me a line. Thanks again. - 52 Pickup (deal) 22:25, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About the modification on Beijing Olympics.

I don't think a tabloid news is what wikipedia wants to quote.

It reported an eviction of 2 million people in the so-called newspaper, while wikipedia reported a 300,000 people move in total for Olympics. It's a contradiction already.

Please find a way to valid the source of citation or else please delete this part. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.108.248.216 (talk) 10:01, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I serverd in the U.S.A.F's special forces unit 369 and we used the p90. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lotta liquor (talkcontribs) 10:30, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BOLD ALLCAPS SIG

Hi WBO. Thanks for you contributions.

Your sig is really loud. Could I suggest you turn it down a little, perhaps unbold, smaller font, or a lighter color? It's not a big deal, not something I usually care about, and if you don't want to change it, not something I'd complain about. But usually by the time I notice something like this, someone else is being really aggravated by it, so maybe you might wanna consider. / edg 15:45, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right you are - I was thinking that myself... how's it now? WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDEN aka john lennon 15:47, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On my browser (Firefox on Puppy Linux, Xfce desktop I think) it looks about the same, but higher. If you're still trying things out, then I don't need to butt in any further. Thanks for getting back to me on this. / edg 15:53, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry; typo in the code. Should be ok now, this is what I've used since December. WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDEN aka john lennon 15:55, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, this time it's lower. I'm guessing that's cos it's "buried in the garden". Also, I'm wrong about Xfce; I'm actually using IceWM. / edg 15:59, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits, I am afraid, are not conducive to productive or constructive edits to this article and in fact ignore the glaring problems as I have outlined including whole paragraphs containing tendentious unsourced material and other edits which are quite problematic despite superficial sourcing. Please direct concerns to the relevant talk page rather than revert blindly. Thank you. NSIprogram (talk) 16:09, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The most glaring problem is that a few paragraphs are not sourced at all and make highly controversial claims. The second problem is that those which are sourced do not have provenance that establishes their relevance to the subject matter other than establishing tertiary political points to the US system. Above all, there is absolutely no reason to revert a dozen times unsourced, tendentious material as I have deleted. There is no valid inclusionist, et al, reason to revert it. NSIprogram (talk) 16:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can not underestimate my appreciation for your speedy concern regarding my deletions and thank you for your considered response. Unfortunately I do see a battle brewing over the sourced but irrelevant deletions but do not foresee a serious effort mounted over the unsourced responses. I thank you for your timely edits and hope that you take general interest in this article in the future. NSIprogram (talk) 16:36, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted my edit

Sorry just wanted to be helpful. 24.183.99.36 (talk) 19:56, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

adop me please

Hi,

I've recently registered and created an account in Wikipedia. I am a first year PhD student in information Science. I am doing my PhD in City University, London.

My interests fall in " Visualization of huge online social networks" and specifically in uncovering the effects of geographic data (physical location of members in real world) on their online social interactions and behaviour.

Since Wikipedia contains large amonuts of online interactions among registered and unregistered users around the world, I've been focusing on wikipedians' online community recently.

As a result I contacted the wikimedia team and we are in the process of obtaining some data from their team.

At the moment, I am familiarising myself to the wikipedia features: Data dumps, statistics, tools, databases and downloading the data dumps into a database.

In doing so I really need soem advice and comments from an experienced user. Highly appreciate it if you let me know that you could adopt me.

Hi, the revert you made to Christian church directory of the United States has been reverted, as it appears to be stupid. I have no idea why you reverted. --Carlaude (talk) 23:02, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalisation

I agree with you about "non important words" should not being capitalised, but it is the title of the song. I know, even titles of books, songs, movies, etc. usually follow this rule, but many do not. See her website here: http://www.amymacdonald.co.uk/. It is also an unimportant song though and agree it should be deleted. :) Could you please do something about the title of the album, the capitalisation is also wrong and affects the search this way. Thanks in advance.--The Smoking Nun (talk) 20:36, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2008

Hello sir,How are ya,

I have no idea why you reverted.I did provide you with an informative edit summary. Please go to discussion page [3].Thank you--Thispoems (talk) 20:40, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism??

I'd appreciate it if you didn't refer to my edits as vandalism. The humor tag warns the reader that the article is not to be taken seriously - if you know of a subject such a tag would be more aptly applied to than creationism, please let me know and I'll go put it on that page. Until then, this seems the best place for it. Lighten up.
