Elantra Is Not Successor

The Sonata was larger than the Stellar, and the Elantra was just an add to the Hyundai lineup. The Elantra would be almost the successor to the Hyundai Excel or Hyundai Pony. In the US, it jointly replaced the Excel. But when the Stellar was sold in Canada, the Sonata replaced it for 1988. The Stellar was about a tad inch shorter than the Sonata, its successor. -- Bull-Doser 01:34, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is a Hyundai Stellar model built in 1989, (Trim GSL) with 1.4 L engine sold in Sri Lanka. This has 4 forward gear box and do not have power steering. All other options are available. Most of these cars, still run on road.--Vipulasrilanka (talk) 15:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Vipula[reply]
