The Company remains rooted in the Basic Beliefs of Quality, People, Ethics, Growth and Independence established by its founder and namesake more than a century ago.

For almost thirty years until his death in 2005, actor Mason Adams was the TV commercial spokesman for their line of jams, jellies and preserves, ending with the famous line, "With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good!".
