International markets?
This heading only seems to mention Mexico... I have only ever seen one of these cars in the UK, where the whole "bigger door" benefit is completely lost due to everyone driving on the left. Also, I doubt that the Pacer would have done well in Europe - sizewise it looks like a hatchback on steroids (making it look awkward in tight country lanes), and with a 5 litre engine I doubt that it would fair particularly well in the fuel economy stakes. Shame - if they had done a 1300cc version and given it 2 big doors (not 1) then it could have been a bit of a seller! Paul-b4 (talk) 15:27, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- How could it use a 1300cc engine? The Pacer was a tank, a very heavy small car - it weighed almost 2 tons User:BomberJoe02:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Help!
This article needs a good clear photograph of a Pacer when new. Can someone oblige? Writegeist (talk) 01:47, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
