Monroe High School is a public senior high school in Monroe, Michigan. It is the only high school in the Monroe Public Schools. It is located at 901 Herr Rd. It has an enrollment of approximately >2000 students in grades 9-12.

History

For the 2007-2008 school year, Monroe High changed from block scheduling to trimesters.

Trivia

With over 2,000 students currently enrolled, Monroe High is one of the largest high schools in Michigan.

Monroe High School was recently featured on T.V. on Oprah Winfrey's talk show as it participated in Challenge Day. This day focused on removing cliques from the school and making it a better place to learn.

Monroe High School was not always located on Herr Rd. Before Herr Rd it was located on Washington St. were Monroe Middle School is now located.

The mascot for monroe high has always been a Trojan.
