Louise Ann Robey (born March 14, 1960) is Canadian singer, model, and actress.
Early life and career
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Robey was educated throughout Europe, including a stint at the Royal Ballet School.[1] Discovered by French photographer Jacques Henri Lartigue while sunbathing in the French Rivera, Robey began modeling and appeared in Vogue. After moving back to the United States in the early 1980s, she fronted the group Louise and the Creeps. The group soon broke up and in 1984, Robey landed a record deal. She recorded an eponymous album, which yielded a semi-hit, a cover of Tim Rice's song from the musical Chess called "One Night in Bangkok".[2]
Robey had small roles in The Money Pit and Raw Deal before landing the role for which she may be best-known, that of Michelle "Micki" Foster, niece of antiques Lewis Vendredi, on the now-defunct syndicated horror series Friday the 13th: The Series, which Frank Mancuso Jr. produced. The show, filmed in Canada, ran for three seasons. Robey played a young woman who has inherited an antique shop from Lewis Vendredi(R. G. Armstrong), her estranged uncle. When it turns out the antiques in the shop are cursed by the devil, it is up to Robey, her cousin(John D. LeMay), and family friend Jack Marshak {Chris Wiggins) to hunt down these antiques before they can kill anyone else.[3] Robey's only known other notable role to date was a starring turn in the film Play Nice, in which she appeared nude.[4]
Personal life

Robey married Charles Beauclerk, Earl of Burford, on 29 December, 1994.[citation needed] They divorced in 2001. Their child, James, went to live with his father, and she came to be considered a courtesy countess because of her prior marriage. Robey subsequently moved to The Dordogne, France, with her boyfriend and fiance photographer Stan Shaffer.[citation needed] As of late March 2008, she was making her living as a songwriter and music producer for bands and recording artists.[citation needed] Robey and Shaffer married in France on March 22, 2008.
