A note on the title: The European Community is a legal entity which is geographically identical with the European Union (but legally one of several distinguishable parts, or pillars of the EU), and since the latter is a more widely known and used title it seems more logical to use it. --Oden20:08, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Six months later and there's still no clear explanation of why these carriers are banned from the EU. Seems like that would be an important part of the article. If any editors have an understanding of this, it'd be a helpful addition. 70.116.9.52 (talk) 16:27, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
