Michael Parisi (Born April 18 1983 in Huntington, New York), is a starting right-handed pitcher for the Memphis Redbirds. He was drafted in June 2004 in the 9th round by the St. Louis Cardinals. He also had an invitation to spring training in 2007 and 2008. Parisi went to Manhattan College and was a pitcher for the Manhattan College baseball team, the Jaspers. On November 20, 2007 , Mike was added to the St. Louis Cardinals 40-man roster in order to keep him from being lost in the Rule 5 draft.

Parisi made his MLB debut on May 5, 2008 at Coors Field. He pitched a scoreless inning of relief and his first career strikeout was against matt herges

On May 4 Parisi was called up to the big-league club.[1]
