Sheeva is a character in the Mortal Kombat video games.
About Sheeva
Sheeva belongs to the ancient race of the Shokan, described as a subterranean people living on Outworld. Like all of her race, she possesses a tall, muscular build, red eyes, and four arms. At once more elegant and servile than her famous brethren Goro and Kintaro however, Sheeva served as the personal bodyguard of Queen Sindel during Shao Kahn's failed invasion of Earthrealm.
Storyline
Sheeva accompanied Shang Tsung to Earth where he revived Sindel. Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Johnny Cage were sent to stop them, but they failed. As the three men retreated, Sheeva recognized Cage as the human who defeated both Goro, and Kintaro. She attacked him as he fled and snapped his neck. Sonya Blade didn't take Johnny's death very well and defeated Sheeva in combat but the Shokan escaped. Sheeva,later, freed Kano from prison after killing the Centaur Motaro. Centaurs had long been the Shokan's natural born rivals, and now that Kahn apparently favoured them above his long-standing friendship with Goro's people, Sheeva had turned on her emperor. Together with Kano she devised a plan to ambush and kill the emperor in his throne room, but the plan backfired on her. She was betrayed by Kano, and murdered by the emperor himself.
Movie appearance
Sheeva appears in the second Mortal Kombat movie, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. As she is about to fight Liu Kang and Kitana, she is squashed by a falling cage. She does have other scenes in the movie, but as she has no fight scenes, this is a disappointment, even relative to the movie.
