Scott Patterson

I think the text, in the sequel section, referring to whether or not Scott Patterson will appear in Saw 5 and Saw 6 can be deleted. It is no longer relevant because 1) doubt of his appearance was a matter PRIOR TO his confirmed appearance in Saw 5, and 2) the television show he is in, Aliens in America, has been cancelled.131.183.212.228 (talk) 18:20, 30 May 2008 (UTC)TGM[reply]

"Saw V Plotline and Plot Released?"

This may contain SPOILERS so BEWARE. This should also be takin as a rumor.

Plot Line: "An investigative journalist stumbles into Jigsaw's game while on assignment."

Plot: "Almost every one brought in to try and solve the Jigsaw mystery has died or been injured. With Johns dead body in the hospital, Officer Rigg badly injured still in the wharehouse, Agent Perez recovering in the hospital and Agent Straum no where to be found there leaves one. Upon hearing the news that Jigsaws games will continue from his death Detective Hoffman has disappeared and a whole new game is just about to start."

Probably bullshit and just as valid than when it said Saw IV's plot consisted of Jeff playing games to free Corbett.--CyberGhostface (talk) 15:12, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, because any member of IMDb, just like on Wikipedia, can add the plot details to IMDb, therefore, it has no credibility. --Victor (talk) 21:34, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice how Agent Strahm's name, along with "warehouse", is misspelled? Of course it's fake... especially with that tagline. Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 04:18, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A video has recently surfaced on YouTube from a user claiming to have the first 4 pages of the saw 5 script. I'm not in to movie scripts, so I can't tell if it's real or not, but the link to the video is http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=a-wRm9tKgwE&feature=related along with links to the pages in the description. Maybe someone can comfirm or debunk this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Samyueru (talkcontribs) 14:15, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the name probably is 'Straum'. That's what it says on the Saw 4 and 5 fact sheets on Lionsgate Publicity.

Conflicting Release Date

In the article there is a release Date Conflict. Which one is going to go into the article?

"The film is set to be released on October 24, 2008, following the tradition of the Saw films, being released the Friday before Halloween." 'Lionsgate Publicity lists Saw V for October 24, 2008'

Or

"It is also rumored that Saw V and Saw VI will be shot back to back. If this is the case, 2008 might be the first year without a Saw film, and instead they will be released in the following years." ''Saw V' & 'Saw VI' Shooting Back-to-Back, Year Off?'

--҉ რɫՒ◌§ 9¤ 01:33, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The official release date is currently October 24, 2008. The producers and such are also debating whether or not to release the film on Halloween, since Halloween takes place on a Friday in 2008. The reason that the last line about "shooting back to back" was added into the article was because it is a possibility the film (Saw V) is not released/completed in 2008 and instead released in 2009, and Saw VI in 2010, as the source implies. --Victor (talk) 05:27, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
