Jerry Lee Sichting (born November 29 1956, in Martinsville, Indiana) is a retired American basketball player in the NBA.
Sichting was selected in the fourth round of the 1979 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors out of Purdue University in his home state of Indiana. Although he did not play a game for the Warriors, he played for five different teams over a ten year career, retiring in 1990 after playing one game with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was a member of the Boston Celtics' 1985-86 championship team.
His best season, statistically, was in 1983-84 as a member of the Indiana Pacers, when he averaged 11.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. He is also known for being involved in a fight with Houston Rockets center Ralph Sampson during Game 5 of the 1986 NBA Finals, resulting in Sampson's ejection.
Jerry Sichting is currently an assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was once the assistant coach for the Marquette University Golden Eagles.
