Michelle Bass (born February 2, 1981 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne) is an English glamour model and television personality turned singer and columnist.

She first came to fame as a contestant on the fifth season of the UK reality television show Big Brother. Previously, Bass had worked as a mortgage adviser. She was formerly a pupil at Gosforth High School in Newcastle-upon-Tyne [1].

During her time in the Big Brother House, she was a member of a group of contestants who referred to themselves as the "Lip Gloss Bitches", along with Marco Sabba, Emma Greenwood and eventual winner Nadia Almada.

She was best known for her the spell in the secret bedsit with Greenwood, as well as her relationship with Stuart Wilson.

Over Christmas 2004, Bass played The Princess in the pantomime Aladdin at the Alban Arena in St Albans.

Career after Big Brother

Michelle still appears in OK! as well as other mainstream publications.

Bass stated on leaving the house that her ambition was to become a glamour model. She was employed as the face of Television X, appearing in advertising campaigns, magazines, commercials and as a presenter. Shortly after this, her dreams of being a glamour model were fulfilled when she appeared for the first time on the cover of a "lads' mag", Nuts. She has since appeared in topless, bikini and lingerie photo shoots in several other lads mags such as Zoo Weekly, Max Power and Loaded. Bass has also been published as a glamour model in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Germany and Sweden.

Bass has recently appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Weakest Link, contributed Big Brother columns to OK! magazine and The Daily Sport and played a small role in the film I Want Candy which stars Carmen Electra.

In early 2007, Bass moved into the commercial modelling market when she began working with the online clothing store Discoo.[2]

Bass currently[when?] contributes a weekly column, "Michelle's Sex clinic", to The Daily Sport newspaper every Wednesday; she was also The People's official Big Brother 8 columnist. Michelle is 2009's News of The World Big Brother columnist.

Private life

In December 2006, Bass was photographed attacking a man who attempted to enter a taxi that Bass claimed she was attempting to hail[3].

Bass is due to marry her fiance Steve McKeown, early next year (2009)
