As promised...

Yes, it is ugly, isn't it? It's the top example from Template:WPBannerMeta/testcases shoved through Special:Expandtemplates - now I just have to work out where those <br>s are in the glut of code that I call {{WPBannerMeta}}, and I can launch a massive update... thanks for the fix - you have no idea how many times I hit "preview" trying to get rid of that gap! Re:Moves etc.

That's good to know.
I wasn't actually aware of that =S

Thanks

Thank you for reverting the unconstructive edit that was recently done to the article on public policy (law). I've taken the liberty of putting a warning template on the user's talk page, so you don't have to. (If you intentionally refrained from warning the user, then I apologize for not ignoring the vandal.) Thanks again, and happy editing. Bwrs (talk) 03:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This user you blocked is currently requesting unblocking; I've still got a few reservations, but it seems possible the account might have been compromised. Any feedback or opinion would be appreciated. – Luna Santin (talk) 06:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: SamatBot problems on enwiki

Hi! I've read your message on my talk pages. I think it is a bug in pywikipedia code (in case not having iw links in the template before the bot's edit) and I will contact the developers. Thank you for fixing the errors my bot made. Please unblock my bot. I will make only supervised edits until this problem will be solved. Regards, Samaten (talk) 09:48, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bot approved: dabbing help needed

Hi there. Fritz bot has been approved at Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/FritzpollBot for filling in a possible 1.8 million articles on settlements across the world. Now dabbing needs to be done for links which aren't sorted as the bot will bypass any blue links. and I need as many people as possible to help me with Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/Places to prepare for the bot. If you could tackle a page or two everything counts as it will be hard to do it alone. Thankyou ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 12:17, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. The guidelines do state that fan links should not be included: "Inappropriate external links:...Fan-based sites". While this isn't strictly policy, it's a guideline that I follow on video game pages. Thanks! Fin© 19:23, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Template deletion

Oh, sorry about that. I'll fix the links on AWB before I try again. Apologies, and thans for undeleting. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 21:58, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambig editintro

Hi. I believe we have a consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disambiguation#Template to caution against frequent mistakes that the {{Disambig editintro}} template is a good idea. Could you request the appropriate update at MediaWiki talk:Common.js for us? (I don't want to ask for the wrong thing and confuse the issue ;)

Also, presumably the template will need to be either protected (for high-use reasons (100,000+) or moved to MediaWiki:Disambig editintro? Thanks again. -- Quiddity (talk) 03:35, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anything I can or need to do, to move this along? No rush, I'm just wondering if I can help :) -- Quiddity (talk) 18:12, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I could just add it and see if anyone reverts. That's usually the only way anything gets done on those pages. --- RockMFR 18:14, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Main Page margin-top

The space above the "Welcome to Wikipedia" box has been annoying for years. It looks fine, even great, in Safari, but in Firefox, it can be quite unseemly. It's twice as bad when the sitenotice is live, especially when it's live for anonymous users. However, removing the space entirely causes issues, as I discovered. The sitenotice is dismissable for logged-in users, so when I reduced the space and clicked 'dismiss,' it was almost directly beneath the tabs. Also, when I was working on it, the anon tips were active (i.e., not merged with the donation banner as they are now). When the anon tips were inserted via JS into the contentSub, it pushed everything down a bit, which I believe was partly causing some issues with the coordinates on articles. Perhaps the margin-top can be reduced a bit, but between the various browsers and the other variables (sitenotice, centralnotice, etc.), it may just be better to leave it alone. I had tried it at 0 (removing it altogether) and at .4em before reverting myself. Perhaps a value of 1 or .9 would suffice. I posted to Talk:Main_Page hoping that someone would see it and come along and solve the problem, however, I don't think anyone responded. --MZMcBride (talk) 03:29, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

*-Class td

Over at Template talk:Cat-Class td you said the table syntax wasn't being placed because the others don't have it. I'd be happy to create the code necessary to place to noinclude table syntax on all those templates also if that would help. Please let me know (I'll watch here for a response). Geo Templateing breakage

Fixed.. Feel free to LMK of further breakages BTW the ones I am currently reviewing should be better post review :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi
Can you have another look at Basic Black, especially the two users User:Napierk and User:BasicB: They did almost the complete same edit after the first one was reverted: [1] and [2]. I guess that you can quickly check their IPs to determine if they are one and the same? The second user claims he's an intern at the show: Talk:Basic_Black.

Request for comments on article naming

Hi, could you take a look and comment on this thread (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Ninja Gaiden – Article Naming) in your position as an administrator? If there is sound concensus, could you take action? Thank you. Jappalang (talk) 22:48, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chrono Trigger NDS

I don't know if you're pissed because we beat you to it or because you're a SONY fanboy and I don't care. The site is called CTDS (Chrono Trigger DS), it's the official site from SquareEnix, it's the Chrono Trigger clock and sound effect and it has the Nintendo DS Logo.

You might as well stop now or you're going to have your work cutout for you starting tomorrow when hundreds of people are going to revert your edits until SquareEnix confirms it in a press conference or something. This is more than enough proof that CT is being ported or remade for the DS and you know it.
