Monster Buster Club is a children's CGI television series by Marathon Production. The show debuted on June 2, 2008, on Jetix in Europe and on June 9, 2008 on Jetix on Toon Disney in the United States and debuted in Asia on Disney Channel Asia and on May 3, 2008. This show is about three 10-year-olds charged with saving their town from alien invasions helped by an alien girl named Cathy. With her grandfather, they form the Monster Buster Club, often abbreviated to MBC. Using a network of secret tunnels running through the town, the MBC heroes conduct undercover alien investigations, seeking out the eccentric-looking bad guys with a knack for alien tricks. Despite being created by the same persons as Totally Spies and The Far-Out Adventures of Team Galaxy, this show isn't centered on fashion and the characters seem to have more common sense. As of 19 June, 2008 only ten episodes were aired on Jetix Europe.
Setting
The show takes place in a small calm town named "Single Town", which seem to be situated in a rocky region (several mountains can be seen in the background).

Monster Buster Club
Cathy, "The Fireball"
A girl who comes from outer space, specifically from planet Rhapsodia. She came to Earth with Mr. Smith, her grandfather, to start the Monster Buster Club. She has stretching powers and wears a pink Monster Buster Club suit. In "Trouble with Troublemaking" she was shown to have telekinesis. She referred to it as "an old Rhapsodian energy trick". In "Popular Kids" at the party, when she started dancing, she started to glow yellow and levitated a bit off the floor, and in "Acting Out" her levitation seem to be much more sufficient, as she is able to lift herself easily. In "World's Toughest Kid" she is shown to have telekinetic powers. She can control minds, but she has difficulty controlling this power. In some cases she is shown to have super strength, as she was able to lift the Pincher-Bots in "Mindreader" and the granny Octivore in "Popular Kids". She has apparently kissed her cousin Elton (on the cheek for a dare, as she stated). Because of her alien origin, she doesn't know much about Earth and sometimes it makes her look strange. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. In "Acting Out" she turns out to be amazing actress. It is also hinted Cathy may like Danny, because in "Mindreader", Cathy made Elton put on headphones while he was chanting nana like Danny. Also in "Mindreader" she said that she is over 700 years old but if she was counting Rhapsodian or Earth years is unclear. While Cathy's true form isn't shown, in "The Trouble with Troublemaking" she mentioned she has tentacles. She is shown to be allergic to dogs in "Dog Daze".
- Note - In Earth years, she is the same age as Danny, Sam and Chris.
Danny, "Mr. Popular"
A boy who is apparently very popular among the students in school. He wears a red Monster Buster Club suit. He sleeps with a toy teddy bear he calls Mr. Fluffyboots, revealed when Cathy's cousin Elton read his mind in "Mindreader". He is athletic, which is also revealed in "Mindreader". He has brown hair and green eyes. In the episode "The Trouble with Troublemaking" he was able to solve a Rhapsodian puzzle, but it took him two days. He has a rivalry with enemy Mark. Danny can often be seen constantly trying to bring him down as seen in "Mindreader" and "Snack Time". He has a little brother named John.
Chris, "The Gizmo Dude"
A boy who seems to be an average kid, with a dream to be a hero. He wears a blue Monster Buster Club suit. He seems to be kind of a genius and one of two most sensible members of Monster Buster Club. He is the one who usually comes up with a plan, as noted by Cathy's cousin Elton in "Mindreader". Both his hair and eyes are blue. He also has freckles. In the episode "Acting Out" he became famous by acting in an interplanetary commercial. Also in the same episode it's revealed that the other MBC members don't know how all the devices at the club work, making him the gadget expert. In "Snack Time" he is shown to be artistic when he makes the posters for the bake sale.
Samantha, "Sam", "The Brains"
A girl who seems to be rather normal. She is African-American and wears a yellow Monster Buster Club suit. She is the other most sensible member of Monster Buster Club besides Chris. She is apparently afraid of spiders, revealed when Cathy's cousin Elton read her mind in "Mindreader". Both her hair and eyes are brown. She is shown to be agile, strong and tactical. Also, Sam is the first to notice Cathy's alien abilities and tries to stop Cathy from using them when she gets overexcited. In "Snack Time" she is shown to be a good cook when Chris says her food is amazing.
Others
Mr. Smith
Cathy's grandfather. He started the Monster Buster Club. Apparently he was a diplomat once and is from Cathy's home planet of Rhapsodia. He has an uncanny resemblance to Dr. Wily from Megaman. In "The Wrong Number" it is revealed that he speaks over two thousand alien languages.
Wendy
A shallow, egotistic blonde-haired girl from school. She is also Danny's crush, but doesn't seem to be the least bit interested in him. She owns a dog named Matisse.
Mark
A shallow egotistic blonde-haired boy from the school. In many ways, he is Wendy's male counterpart. Danny and Mark have been enemies for a long time. He has a mole below his left eye.
Jeremy
A orange-haired boy from school, he wears glasses. He has a crush on Cathy. He also appeared in "Mindreader" playing a video game and in "Flower King" where he tries to impress Cathy.
Roy and Ralf
Mark's black-haired and red-haired sidekicks. They often help him with his schemes as seen in "Snack Time".
Elton
Elton is Cathy's and Mr. Smith's grandson. His only known power is mindreading. This power is very annoying to the MBC as Elton continually reads their minds, finishes their sentences and reveals their secrets. It is hinted that in Rhapsodian years, he is older than Cathy in "Mindreader" since he claims to have been 700 years old to Cathy's 671 years at the time of the kiss.
- Note - In Earth years, he is the same age as Cathy, Danny, Chris and Sam.
John
Danny's little brother who always wants to help the Monster Buster Club. He has dark red hair and green eyes. He often creates malfunctioning inventions that serve another purpose in helping the MBC as seen in "Popular Kids" and "Snack Time".
Mr Fusster
Mr Fusster is a teacher of the class which the MBC is in. He speaks in a monotone voice.
Arsenal
The standard weapon is a repeating blaster, which can also morph into a tractor beam for capturing enemies and keeping them in special containers, laser cannon for extra firepower and sonic cannon for disabling robots and a bubble gun that disables robots and captures targets.

Mr. Smith is appointed to a job which he has has to make peace between two planets before they go to war. He is given a galactic communicator that looks like a cell phone. With Chris's curiosity, he takes the communicator and loses it when it's switched with Mark's cell phone. Mark makes the alien ambassador tense and the two planets go to war on Earth. Soon after the space ships arrive, Chris and Cathy get back the communicator and sets peace between the planets. | |||

Sam helps babysit a baby named Tina for Cathy while she still has to help with the Bake Sale for Whale Food with Chris and Danny, but she has to go back and forth to each job. With all the stress, Sam accidently feeds Tina a Glusock cracker, a alien food Pythenor Eater aliens (Tina) shouldn't eat because it puts them on an eating rampage! Meanwhile, Chris and Danny are having trouble with Mark's "Everday Airlift" Bake Sale raising money for him to have a helicopter. Tina gets to the school and starts eating all the Bake Sale goods but is momentarily stopped by a Floater Disk, but she can even eat food without touching it. Mr. Smith tells them that the only way to stop this rampage is to get the taste of Glusock out of her mouth, so they use John's "Dumdy Dum" which produces bad tasting cookies and stops the little Pythenor Eater. | |||

Cathy gets detention when she argues with Mr. Fusster about intelligent life other than mankind. The detetion teacher, Mr. Gluten turns out to be a Sticky alien! To solve this problem, Danny says to fight the alien they should all get detention, which Chris and Sam don't like because they never get detention, (unlike Danny). Chris shows up the next day with a gangster look, but still is finding trouble getting detention. Cathy and Sam look for Mr. Gluten's file and escape once they find it. At lunch, Mr. Gluten turns into the Lunch Lady and Chris and Danny call for help. When Mr. Gluten escapes, Sam tackles the real lunch lady and gets detention. At detention, Sam finds out the real Mr. Gluten is on vacation. When the Sticky attacks and tells Cathy and Sam he's recruiting alien workers and that he is gathering Rhapsodians (Cathy) to work for him. Just as he's about to capture Cathy, the boys throw a stink bomb and the Sticky escapes into the forest. The MBC follows and stops him by using a Rhapsodian puzzle stick that Danny set to knock him in the head. | |||

Wendy asks Danny to look after her dog named Matisse, while she is on a the trip to the mountains. In order to impress Wendy, Danny signs Matisse to behavior-correction school where Matisse is replaced with robo-dog, things start to get complicated and it's up to MBC to save Single Town from Matisse robo-clones. | |||

MBC receives a new mission: they must guard The Flower King named Petalia (which is a flower) until ambassadors from his planet arrive. Meanwhile, Jeremy (schoolboy) is trying to impress Cathy by presenting her a flower, accidentally mistakes Petalia for one and kidnaps him. Now, MBC has to deal with both robots sent to capture Petalia and finding Petalia himself. | |||

Several teens in Single Town (including Danny) were detected robbing local shops. Soon, MBC realizes that all robbers were hypnotized during the recent concert of a band called "The Flying Dutchman". MBC tries to use interplanetary transporter to send captured aliens into inter-galactic prison, but they fail (which result in battle with accidentally freed aliens) because Danny is late (transporter scans each MBC member' eyes and only after all members are present can transportation can be completed). Meanwhile, Cathy proposes herself (with Sam's help) for a Student Council President, but both she and Danny (in matter of coolness) face opposition of new tough schoolboy named Brian. Now, it is up to MBC to investigate - why Brian throws a competition both to Danny and Cathy. | |||

In the cafe, MBC fights a suddenly-appearing lizard-alike alien, which is trying to kill some stylish guy. Alien escapes, and saved (Stanley Caminski) guy turns out to be one of the Galactic most successful superstars manager. For saving his life he explains that attacking alien was his unsuccessful competitor whose stars aren't popular and also, Stanley offers MBC his assistance so they can become stars too. Everyone are glad to agree, but Mr. Smith denies them, because Monster Buster Club is a secret society and must not be revealed. However, Chris secretly calls Stanley and agrees to participate in commercials. Meanwhile, Cathy goes to audition on school play called "Romeo and Juliet" and turns out to be amazing actress, so she is accepted and must prepare. Also, Wadge (lizard alien) seek to kill every superstar which works with Stanley. Now, with Cathy is too busy (and obsessed) prepairing for school play, and Chris who don't want to believe that Wadge is after him, it is up to Sam, Danny and John to find Wadge before he strikes. | |||
