Dravecky, Did you undo my changes to the WSYA radio station page? This station is not on the air yet. I have learned from radio people in the area that it may have a delayed launch, or may never come on the air. Would you please make necessary changes to show that this station is currently NOT on the air? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arob22 (talkcontribs) 15:46, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I'll amend it to reflect this. The call letters were changed from WANA to WSYA in the FCC database on May 23rd so they're no longer pending but in place, legally. - Dravecky (talk) 01:17, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:HAU, Status, and you!

As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible) system - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 22:46, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

okay

Why did you revert my edit. I have proof on on everything I did. Btw, the whole thing with the Golden Gloves that did happend. My uncle was in the 1977 Golden Gloves final match , and he was in the ring against some other guy. My uncle knocked that guy out , but "Mr Cook" gave the other guy the victory and he went to the national Golden Gloves tournament. Thats is no b.s. right there.--Rio de oro (talk) 14:24, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got a verifiable source, provide it with the text. - Dravecky (talk) 16:54, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to sue you for 1 million dollars when you reverted my edits. --70.132.207.67 (talk) 23:22, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. The paragraph in the article which you've labeled as a possible copyright violation is the text from the book's back cover. I've seen these reproduced on other book articles, and I'm not sure whether it's a copyvio or not, hence this message. Ottens (talk) 12:16, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well then it's not a possible copyright violation, it's a definite copyright violation, and an unsourced one to boot. If credited, you could quote a bit of that text but the article needs a description written by a Wikipedia editor, not the publisher of the book. - Dravecky (talk) 16:55, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's STILL unsourced. You're taking this person's word for it. Also, actually looking at the book constitutes original research. Now, an article properly cited from a notable publication ABOUT the back cover of the book would be another thing.
