Talk:Alison Starling

This local news anchor is a candidate for an anchoring position on ABC 7 NEWS at 5pm. This is in Washington D.C. the nations capital and #8 DMA. After Kathleen Matthews left, Alison will start filling in her position and possibly become Leon Harris's co-host. She is a rising star and very soon she will be very well known.

Thank you for allowing me to post this page, I hope that you will decide to leave the page up. Thank you again!

it is interesting that the reference to her being a candidate to replace Kathleen Matthews was deleted with an explanation that Mrs. Matthews left some time ago and Ms. Starling has not replaced her yet.

Mrs. Matthews left on December 12, 2006 and MS. Startling has been a regular replacement although she is not there daily and no official announcement has been made.

Actually Kathleen Matthews left the WJLA evening newscast on Dec 1, 2006 but there is still no replacement and Ms. Starling is still the most frequent fill in.
