Kellan Lutz is a film and television actor. Before acting, he was an Abercrombie & Fitch model.
Personal life
Lutz was born as one of 7 brothers and 1 sister in Dickinson, North Dakota and was raised throughout North Dakota and the Midwest and then Arizona. He started modeling when he was 14 and after high school He moved to Los Angeles for college in 2003 and then decided to pursue an acting career.
[1] Lutz has close friendships with Twilight co-stars Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson, which formed before the movie began filming.[citation needed]
Career
Lutz has acted on a number of television shows. He had recurring roles on Model Citizens and The Comeback, and smaller roles in episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, CSI: NY, Summerland, Six Feet Under, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Heroes. He was also in the films Stick It, Accepted, and Prom Night. Additionally, Kellan has performed on the California stage and was the host of Bravo's Blow Out. He also appeared in the 2006 commercial for Hilary Duff's fragrance With Love... Hilary Duff, and in the 2007 music video for her single, "With Love".[2] Lutz also appears in the miniseries Generation Kill, based on the book by Evan Wright.
Lutz has been cast as Emmett Cullen in the upcoming movie adaptation of the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.[3] He he will also be appearing as George Evans in the upcoming 90210 spinoff on The CW.[4] Lutz will be reuniting with his Twilight co-star and close friend, Ashley Greene, in the 2009 movie Strife.[5]
