XXXchurch.com is a Christian anti-pornography website that aims to help those who struggle with pornography. Its target are those who are consumers and those in pornographic industry. The website, whose slogan is the "#1 Christian Porn Site", launched in January 2002 when the founders, Mike Foster[1] and Craig Gross[2], set up a booth inside the Las Vegas Adult Expo to promote the website and an alternative to porn. They annually attend shows worldwide. [3]
A founder of XXXchurch.com, Craig Gross, regularly debates with porn star Ron Jeremy in an event called The Porn Debate. In the summer of 2007, the duo embarked on a theatre tour [4].
The organization gives its vision as:
"XXXchurch is the #1 Christian porn site designed to bring awareness to the porn problem. From the United States, Australia, Asia, and Europe, XXXchurch is a movement of people and ministries putting accountability to those struggling with porn and those calling porn a career."

XXXchurch.com has been featured in Time, Playboy, GQ, The Today Show, CNN [1], Good Morning America, CBS Evening News, Anderson Cooper 360, LA Times, New York Times and ABC News Nightline. [citation needed]
The "Porn and Pancakes" event was mentioned on the February 3, 2007, episode of Saturday Night Live during the Weekend Update skit [5]. The origins of XXXchurch were documented in a film called Missionary Positions [6].
The popular Internet meme "Every time you masturbate... God kills a kitten" was used by XXXchurch.com's "Operation: Save the Kittens", which used the video to talk about masturbation. [7]
X3Watch
XXXchurch.com also offers an accountability software called X3Watch. The software logs all sites that a user accesses and rates them based on content type for reporting to an "accountability partner" of the person's choosing. The program is free to download without tech support but a premium version is offered that includes support for a fee.
Starving Jesus
Starving Jesus is a non-fiction book written by Gross and J.R. Mahon, also a member of XXXchurch ministries. The novel criticizes the modern church for being "born-again lazy" and being "chained to the pew".[2] It encourages born again Christians to get up, get out, and get working for the ministry of Jesus Christ. The subtitle "40 days of nothing" refers to the 40 day fast of Jesus before he was to be tempted in the wilderness by Satan. The book also asks the question "Are you starving Jesus?"
Gross and Mahon participated in a forty-day-long fast from August 5 2006 to September 13 2006 while promoting the book.
