Craig Robinson (actor)
Craig Robinson (born October 25, 1971) is an American actor and stand-up comedian who has appeared in two feature films and a number of television programs. He plays Darryl Philbin on the American version of The Office. He was bumped up to star status in the fourth season. He also plays a club doorman in the film Knocked Up. Craig appears as a bouncer in the music video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Hump de Bump", in which he acts as a bouncer for a block party and does not let Chris Rock enter. He had a large role in 2008's Pineapple Express, in which he played a hitman for a drug lord. His past television roles have included a security guard on Arrested Development, and a government worker on Friends.
Personal life
Robinson was arrested on August 14, 2008 by the Culver City Police Department in West Los Angeles on suspicion of possessing MDMA and methamphetamine.[1] Further proceedings arising from the arrest are currently pending in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
