The Bella Twins (born on November 21, 1983) are a female professional wrestling tag team consisting of twin sisters Brie Bella (Brianna Garcia) and Nicole Bella (Nicole Garcia). They are currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment under their SmackDown brand, as well as training in their developmental facility Florida Championship Wrestling.
Career
Brianna and Nicole Garcia were born in San Diego, California and they were raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. They made their first National Television appearance on the Fox Reality show Meet My Folks. Brianna and Nicole were hired to be the World Cup Twins for Budweiser and were photographed holding the world cup trophy. They then went on to participate in the 2006 "International Body Doubles Twins Search." Brianna went under the name Stephanie for the Search.[2]
World Wrestling Entertainment
Brianna and Nicole tried out for the 2006 WWE Diva Search, They didn't make it to the Final 8. In the Summer of 2007, Brianna and Nicole signed contracts with the WWE, and they were assigned to WWE's Devlopment Territory FCW.
Florida Championship Wrestling
The Twins debuted on September 15, 2007 in FCW, being dubbed as The Bella Twins instead of The Garcia Twins. They eventually managed Derrick Linkin, which was short-lived because of his release a month later in January 2008. They started wrestling in Singles and Tag Team competition, against the likes of Victoria Crawford, Daisy, Taryn Terrell, and Milena Roucka.
SmackDown
Though both ladies have appeared on SmackDown! House shows, Only Brie Bella is currently on the main roster, Nicole bella Is still training in FCW, Resulting in the Bella Twins having to be apart until Nicole gets to the Level of the other divas. On the August 29 edition of SmackDown!, Brie Bella debuted by defeating Victoria. Brie defeated Victoria again on the September 5, 2008 edition of SmackDown! by switching with Nicole under the ring. On September 12, 2008 Brie Bella, Maria, and Michelle Mccool defeated Maryse, Victoria, and Natalya.
