Test pages

[edit]

.. are best placed as subpages of your user page. I.e., User:Bogus Exception/Sandbox1. --Blehfu (talk) 23:59, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

.. might also have an easy option to allow them to serve as drafts, no? I've added the 'hangon' tag, but cannot find any reference to how to create 'drafts' as an article is compiled and refined prior to publication/release. Any ideas, or will this do? Hello. Since you'll be working on the article, you probably want to remove the PROD template (else the article will be deleted very soon, don't remove the other tags until you address them). As for citing sources, they are necessary to establish notability of the subject. There is mention of the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, but it's not a proper footnote, and there's no link to get to that source, so it makes it difficult to check the validity or the existence of the source. You say the term is recent, which may cause issues with regards to the neologism guidelines, please take a look at them. I suggest you carefully read WP:CITE and WP:RS on how to cite and pick sources, WP:NOTE on how to establish notability and WP:BETTER on how to improve the article in general (in particular WP:TONE). Good luck and welcome to Wikipedia. --Boffob (talk) 03:54, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I pretty much left as little as I possibly could. I hope this flies. I am now trying to find references to cite, but as I've mentioned, this may be difficult. -pat --Bogus Exception (talk) 15:34, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It looks better now and is much less likely to get flagged for whatever reasons (especially deletion). You can still work on it and add to it of course.--Boffob (talk) 15:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see you added some references, but, as someone else pointed out on the article talk page, they would be better as inline citations (using footnotes, <ref> tags and {{reflist}} templates, it's all explained in WP:CITE).--Boffob (talk) 01:49, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
