Tri-State Lottery refers to a group of games offered by the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. It was the first multi-jurisdictional lottery, with its first drawing on September 14, 1985.[1] Tri-State Lottery currently offers four games: Megabucks, Pick 3, Pick 4, and Paycheck. With Maine (which was a MUSL member from 1990-1992) returning to the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) in July 2004, all three lotteries also offer Powerball, which is run by MUSL (New Hampshire also takes part in MUSL's Hot Lotto.) Tri-State Lottery games, however, are not affiliated with MUSL.

According to the New Hampshire Lottery website [1], Paycheck is scheduled to be replaced in early 2009 with a game to be called Weekly Grand; in addition, Tri-State Megabucks is to be retired in June 2009.
