Amelia High School is a public high school near Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is one of two high schools in the West Clermont Local School District. [1]
Amelia High School is accredited by the Department of Education, State of Ohio, and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school is also a member of the Ohio Association of College Admissions Counselors and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors.
In 2002, the West Clermont Local School District received a $500,000 grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to help it restructure its high schools into ten smaller schools.
The small schools within Amelia are: Creative Arts and Design, Math and Science Technology, International Baccalaureate, World Studies, Business and Technology.
Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships
Amelia's sole OHSAA state title is the 1950 Boys Baseball championship. [2]
