Is it really fair to say he's successful?

How many people even know about him? Were it not for Me, Myself, & Irene, I never would have ever heard about him. I think many would agree with me.

Sure, he has a gold album or two, but, well....I think it speaks for itself.

I mean, just look at the talk page :/

I'm not a big fan. But he is often mentioned in music magazines...I would say hes probably one of those artists that on the fringe of popularity and underground.

yeah, he's successul, he's got a strong following/audience he's argubably one of the best singers/songwriters around or all time [~kaemi]
