This page is a mess. The "controversy" over some dancing show is news, not anything for an encyclopedia entry. Plus, according to the Jacopo Peterman page, "John O'Hurley is an associate of the (real) J. Peterman Company" - can't tell if this is unverified or not worthy of mention. --Newshound 19:56, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to note that John O' Hurley is doing a figurehead type of deal for the radio station BenFM in Philadelphia PA. He's not really a DJ but he makes a few bumps and reads listener mail and the such. Since BenFM is doing the JackFM format style, they have no DJs so I cant really call him a DJ. --Alt 03:50, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

he is similarly the voice of Indianapolis's WLHK "Hank FM", which is basically the country version of JackFM. Since he is probably doing imaging (always makes an ex-DJ happy to use trade terms) for a number of stations, I don't think the bit about the St. Louis station is worth mentioning in the lead sentence. Any thoughts? I won't edit for a few days at least to see if there's any discussion. Lambertman 12:24, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He just supplied some voiceovers for a new documentart entitled Aleut Story It just came out, and it was produced in Alaska, with main voiceovers by Martin Sheen.

Coors Light?

Is he the voiceover for Coors Light brewery commercials??142.176.76.205 00:13, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so. I've heard several of those ads on the radio and they don't really sound like his voice that much. Green Lantern
Actually, O'Hurley does the voice-overs for Coors Light's television (not radio) spots, or at least he did for the Canadian promotional campaign.[1] I've also specifically heard his voice featured in TV spots for Coors Light's "Mystery Mansion" [2], which is an ongoing promotional contest across Canada. == O'Hurley and TPiR == 'Is a big HAM and struts like a Peacock

I've added information about O'Hurley being considered to be replace Bob Barker on the price is right. This is the 3rd time I have added this information, and it is sourced. Do not erase it, it is FACT and SOURCED. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrbrown (talkcontribs) 23:09, 29 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Then add a source because it's needed. Douglasr007 19:07, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Its pretty much public knowledge to begin with, a simple search of "Bob Barker replacement" on Google can figure that out. Its referenced on other articles. Its just some PARTICULAR users do not like this information added to the John O'Hurley article. This is seriously the 5th or 6th time its been added, and sourced, and somebody has erased it.
If it continues to be erased from this article, I will take steps to get it protected from editing. --Mr. Brown 03:26, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It never was public knowledge since not everyone knew this. However, the article before stated that he was going to be the new host of the Price Is Right but this is not the case. He was merely suggested and speculated to be the new TPIR host. This could be speculation and falls under WP:CRYSTAL. But as the article states, he has tried out for the new host which is fine. Douglasr007 22:34, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've never suggested that he was going to be the next host of The Price is Right, I've always stated that he tried out, and hence was being considered. User:Brettfern has repeatedly vandalized this article (and other television-related articles), and as such, this was probably changed to what you just stated. However, just because one douche bag keeps vandalizing an article doesn't mean something should be completely removed - go back in the history, and find the source, as when I orginally added the information, it was properly sourced and stated! --Mr. Brown 04:21, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Needed: More Seinfeld information

I've rearranged the Career section and created a new one for Dancing With the Stars, but the body of the article contains next to nothing about his role on Seinfeld, which is clearly more important than hosting a dog show. Maybe someone with a stack of Entertainment Weekly back issues handy? WWB (talk) 17:14, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Family?

Why is there no mention of his son William? He makes occasional cameos on "Family Feud". NBK1122 (talk) 00:34, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Boomerang

On the Boomerang (TV channel) page, it states that he voiced most of the channel's promos. Is it redundant to make note of it on this page? NBK1122 (talk) 00:34, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Frasier

He was also in the Fraiser episode, "Slow Tango in South Seattle."
