Muxe is from mujer

The word muxe is thought to derive from the 16th century Spanish word for "woman", mujer.

AFAIK, mujer is still the Spanish word for "woman." The sentence needs to be clarified. 76.21.8.213 (talk) 20:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
