Why no mention of this? If it was just made up for 'The Omen' it should still be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.240.47.221 (talk) 13:27, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Tsar Peter the Great
It says that he was considered as a contendor, for his mistreatment of the Orthodox Church, including the separation of Church and State; actually it was for his uniting of Church and State. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.36.217.136 (talk) 18:39, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

might he be an antichrist? I think so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.242.93.247 (talk) 20:56, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Another view
Should there be a section that mentions how some say that the term "antichrist" in the epistles of John has no connection to Revelation or other texts, and that it's just meant to refer to those who preach heresies in general? I'm not saying this viewpoint is necessarily true, but it seems strange to omit it. Lord Seth (talk) 21:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC) you're right, antichrist doesn't refer to the man of sin, it's just whoever somehow gets in your way as a Christian, and there could be any number of them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.36.217.136 (talk) 22:52, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
"Therefore, an antichrist opposes Christ by substituting himself for Christ." -- This seems to be a huge extrabiblical extrapolation. The scripture calls anyone who denies "Jesus coming in the Flesh", for example, to be antixristos. The quote is a minority opinion, imo. Hopquick (talk) 14:24, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
