Snipe may refer to:

Snipe, several species of wading bird
Snipe (rapper), rap artist from New Orleans, Louisiana
Snipe (theatrical), during motion picture exhibition, may refer to a short announouncement trailer on behalf of the theater, or any film that's run before or after a feature that isn't a promotional trailer or commercial (eg. a "welcome to our theater" snipe). A snipe may also refer to a last minute print which is glued over a poster or any paper advertising material to either alter or add to the information.

In television advertising, the animated graphics that promote other shows while the viewer is watching the current show.

Snipe hunt, one of a class of practical jokes that involves experienced people making fun of newcomers by giving them an impossible or imaginary task
