Vangani is a town in Maharashtra, India near the city of Mumbai. It is serviced by the Mumbai suburban railway on the Mumbai-Karjat route. It has a beautiful waterfall 'Bhagirath' to the east of the railway station during the monsoons. There is also a small route from the Shanker Temple to ascend to Chanderi hill top from the wadi. One is advised not to climb during the monsoons.

Vangani is also known for plant nursery and spices.

Khagol Mandal, an association of amateur astronomers, regularly conducts public sky observation sessions from Vangani.
