Samuel Purdey / Wikipedia:Notability (music)

Thanks for your response Paste. Just had another look at the page regarding Criteria for musicians and ensembles. Is it possible that the band qualify by way of criteria #1 (please see links to external sources on the page) and #6 (Gavin Dodd's work with Jamiroquai and Spacemonkeyz) and maybe #11 (please view: http://www.kiss-fm.co.jp/pc/hotraxx/hotraxx_index.php). This is Kiss FM's radio station in Japan. Thanks. (Rolluprob (talk) 17:17, 14 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

  • Hello Paste. Was it just a case of "too late" then - as you mentioned in your 'talk' to me - meaning the points I mentioned above would apply if I was a bit quicker of the mark? (Rolluprob (talk) 17:29, 14 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Greetings.

Sorry it took me so long to get to this. I haven't been on in a couple days. I would love to take you up on your offer. You seem to be the kind of person I would like helping me. I see you are in the field of education. It just so happens that knowledge is my favorite thing, besides writing and music. Just tell me where to start. --Seven Faces (talk) 04:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was filling out the adoption page and was needing some information. Just, maybe an explanation on what is involved in the following things: Vandalism fighting, Wikimarkup, Wikipedia policy, Articles for deletion, and WikiProjects. Thank you, --Seven Faces (talk) 06:24, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Roy Winfield Harper

I wanted the picture to be bigger but if this is a problem then whatever you decide to do is fine and I don't have a problem with it. Please forgive me, I am new at this and am learning as I go. I am also trying to update the links to the Ancestry.com census records but that is going to take a little time. Once I have it I will add it to the article. In the mean time I have deleted the links to the census records as sources since the links were not working. I am trying to get the page included in categories and am having problems. I wanted it to be included in the following categories: United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri | United States District Court judges | Missouri lawyers | American judges | United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Can you help me with this? Also, Roy Winfield Harper is my uncle of my father's side of the family. Because of this I have made sure to include information that can be verified by other sources and to not just give my opinion. This then follows the guidelines of Wikipedia in regards to putting information about someone who has a close relationship with you. Thanks...Ricky Harper --Rah030261 (talk) 23:08, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Local articles

It's good to know I'm not the only Wikipedian in Mid-sussex :P.

And yes, I am interested in creating new articles for the local area. I think that, when I get the time I'll take a few photos of the local area too, just like you did for Ditchling; if you could teach me how to upload photos, I would be very grateful :).

I live in the small village of Wivelsfield Green, if you must know :). —Preceding unsigned comment added by ²wenty³ (talkcontribs) 20:59, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the corrections ... I had apparently expressed myself too inaccurately: it wasn't meant a bath generally, but the city Bath - I have made it clearer now). In addition, Gillingham itself leads to a disambiguation page, so I have changed the link back. Greetings

Quick work ... Thanks

I am sorry, but why was my edits to Lea Ahlborn unconstructive? The only thing I did was to link names and things. Was this wrong? --85.226.44.74 (talk) 19:37, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
