Question: Why are editors mentioning (DRVs, TFDs, AFDs, etc.) on the Article Rescue Squadron, this is canvassing.
Answer: Although Article Rescue Squadron does not have a "wikiproject" in the title, it functions like a wikiproject. In wikiprojects editors with certain interests work together to further the goals of the project, this includes discussing all aspects of deletion. The only difference between Article Rescue Squadron and other wikiprojects is that our scope is bigger, to include all subjects of interest on wikipedia.
Comment: As an editor who actively supports the deletion of many articles, I object to what Article Rescue Squadron is doing.
Answer: Again, Article Rescue Squadron is no different from any of the hundreds of wikiprojects, except for its scope. Some wikiprojects have a active delete agenda, you are welcome to search out these projects for support in your views.
