Marina Oswald Porter, born Marina Nikolayevna Prusakova (Russian: Марина Николаевна Прусакова) on July 17, 1941, is the widow of Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin of U.S. President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.

Background

She lived with her mother and stepfather until 1957 when she moved to Minsk to live with her uncle, Ilya Prusakov. She worked as a pharmacist in a local hospital.

Meeting and marriage to Oswald

In February 1961 she met Oswald at the city dance hall. The couple got married on April 30, 1961 and later had a daughter, June Lee, on February 15, 1962. In June 1962, Oswald was given special permission to take his wife and child to the United States.

Once in the U.S., they had a second daughter, Audrey Marina Rachel, on October 23, 1963.

Remarriage following death of Oswald

After Oswald's murder at the hands of Jack Ruby, she married Kenneth Jess Porter in 1965. They have a grown son.

She has resided in Dallas, Texas, for many years. She has appeared in numerous documentaries concerning the Kennedy assassination.
