Rania is a city and a municipal committee in Sirsa district in the Indian state of Haryana.
Geography
Rania is located at 29°32′N 74°50′E / 29.53°N 74.83°E[1]. It has an average elevation of 190 metres (623 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census[2], Rania had a population of 20,958. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rania has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 59%, and female literacy is 47%. In Rania, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
