My Winter Storm

My Winter Storm is the first solo studio album by Finnish rock/classical soprano Tarja Turunen. The album was released by Universal Music on November 19, 2007. Both the single and the album are produced by Daniel Presley.[1]
The radio version of the first single - "I Walk Alone" - has been playing on Finnish radio and the music video presenting Tarja's new characters created for this album has been playing on MTV. Tarja has played a minitour of 10 concerts in various European countries.[2]
The actual album tour is scheduled for 2008. An official website for the album has been opened with information about it.[3] The album is also available as a limited edition 2-disc digipack with a bonus DVD. My Winter Storm album is platinum in Finland and 2 gold discs in Russia, also recently won the Golden Disc in Hungary and their first gold disc in her entire career in the Czech Republic. [4]

I Walk Alone
The first single, "I Walk Alone", was released on October 262007 in Finland and October 292007 worldwide. The single is available in two alternate versions containing three remixes of the song by Mel Wesson, Chris Vrenna and In Extremo.[6]

Promotional Events
Tarja took part in a promotional "meet and greet" in London on Sunday, September 16, 2007. Tarja was present to answer the questions of the 20 or so fans that won a chance to attend. During the event, 8 songs from the album were played, as well as the music.
