Renato Civelli (born 14 October 1983 in Pehuajó) is an Argentine football defender who plays for Marseille in France.

Civelli started his career at Banfield in the Primera Division Argentina. After 2 years with the club he was signed by Marseille in January 2006, during the European winter transfer window. He returned to Argentina on a one year loan contract after the 2006-07 season, joining Gimnasia at the start of the 2007 Apertura.

His younger brother Luciano is also a professional footballer, currently playing for Ipswich Town in the English Championship.

From Feb 2009, due to the Julien Rodriguez's injury, he has played as central defender for several matches and has gained respect from the manager and the supporters. He is now playing for sunderlandas steve bruce bought him for a reported fee of 7 million.
