This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

79.76.21.5 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Banning of account creation and page edit because I am in an IP range used by "Eirwitt/TileJoin." My main point is I do not have a clue who these things are and I am on a home network with random IPs so it is easier when recovering said network when it crashes. I can not get into contact with the administrator as I have no account and, as said above, account creation has been blocked. I would like to see a full explanation on this page of why I have been locked out of the community to this extent and a solution to this problem.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=Banning of account creation and page edit because I am in an IP range used by "Eirwitt/TileJoin." My main point is I do not have a clue who these things are and I am on a home network with random IPs so it is easier when recovering said network when it crashes. I would like to see a full explanation on this page of why I have been locked out of the community to this extent and a solution to this problem.  |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting decline reason here with any specific rationale. If the decline= parameter is omitted, a reason for unblocking will be requested.

I'm not an administrator, but since they might take a little bit before they see your request I thought I would explain why your IP is blocked. The reason this range has been blocked is because it is one of many that an extremely disruptive, persistent vandal has used to cause problems for years. This person enjoys causing problems and destroying other peoples work, and the damage has, over time, become so great that the administrators feel that blocking innocent parties along with the vandal is an acceptable amount of collateral damage. Hopefully an administrator will be along soon and will be able to help you get an account set up so that you will be able to edit. I'm sorry that you had to go through this on account of one jerk, but I hope that they get you set up soon and that you enjoy being a Wikipedian. 24.99.242.63 (talk) 14:39, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
