ALright! I Just read All of Wikipedias guidelines last night (all-nighter) and now, I'm ready to BEGIN!!!!

Roak Leslie is my name. I would like to get help on how to edit here. I am a fan of Days of Our Lives and Ally My Children and also watch General Hospital once in a while. I am a new student at Universiti of Malibu and love to eat ribs all the time - yes I am a guy. notice that my last name is my first name on my "tittle".

Happy Independance day!!!!!!!!!!! Went out to buy some new underwear (Tighty Whities)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Hanes White Briefs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your request is a little broad, but I think I can point you in the right direction. WP:ROPES is a page on "learning the ropes" of Wikipedia, with lots of links to places where you can learn the rules and/or find ways to help. Roughly speaking, you can help by creating new articles about noteworthy topics, by improving existing articles, or by removing vandalism and bad edits as they happen. Or by taking good pictures of people and things that Wikipedia needs pictures of. You could join a WikiProject on a subject you're interested in. Or the community portal can be a handy place to check out what areas are in need of help today. I hope that gives you some starting places! -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:55, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh great! --Leslie Roak (talk) 23:08, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I read the tutorials and they helped. They taught me on the linking and the searching and all the info that i need to start with. I will start reading more and eventually work my way to the top! Thanks and happy independance day.! Oh! I just remmbered. I saw these cool boxes on the articles (the orange ones like on the Kristina Davis article (I just tried linking)) and I wondered if I can create a minni bio using that about me??? Can I also post pics on my self?? And Other users have these cool tiny boxes that I want. Where can I get them. Oh Its great to talk to someone who can help me! -- 20:54, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, you can add that infobox to your userpage. And you can upload a photograph of yourself (see Special:Upload). And those boxes are called Userboxes, and there's a whole menu of them here. Cheers, Cureden 21:15, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And remember, when you're adding a comment on a talk page (like I am now) to put it under the last comment. Like, if you add a comment now you should put it under this one. It just makes reading a bit easier. ;) Cureden 13:38, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Alright Cureden! Thanx Bro.--Leslie Roak (talk) 22:54, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Minor characters

Hi: I have just declined a speedy deletion tag that you placed on Cheryl Stansbury -- according to Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion, being a minor character isn't a reason for speedy deletion. However, I see what you're getting at, and doubtless you know more about the topic than I; if you truly feel that this article should be deleted, you can use either the proposed deletion process or the articles for deletion process. Let me know if there's something I can do to help. (I note that there's another article with approximately the same speedy tag and I'm going to remove that one for the same reason.) Accounting4Taste:talk 00:23, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Thanks yo! --Leslie Roak (talk) 17:11, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Leslie. I just wanted to talk about the Johnny Zacchara and Lulu Spencer article you restored. Do you have any plans on improving it or is it just going to stay a plot summary? I'm wondering because even if this couple is a super couple, they shouldn't have an article about them that just recaps their fictional adventures. There should be real world information about them that can be sourced. These are some examples of some of the better couple articles: Bianca Montgomery and Maggie Stone and JR Chandler and Babe Carey. As you can see, these articles have more than just plot. They give the real world perspective on the couples such as their creation, information on the casting/writing, and their reception. Rocksey (talk) 17:36, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get on improving it immediatley!!!. I can definatley do this. Thanks for the lookups, yo! --Leslie Roak (talk) 14:41, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Response

I replied on my talk page. I see that you are advancing in your editing here since then, however. I wish you the best here at Wikipedia. Flyer22 (talk) 01:40, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Morgan Corinthos III

There are a few problems that I need to point out with your rewrite of this article. First, you rely almost entirely on SoapCentral.com for sourcing. While it has generally been agreed that the site is fine when it comes to reporting news (contracts, firings, hirings, etc.) it is not an acceptable source for storylines. The recaps and character biographies are user-generated, and thus fail our policy on reliable sources. Finally you did what is called a copy/paste move to the article. When you manually redirect and copy/paste the text, you lose the entire page history. Read up on how to correctly do a move here. AniMatedraw 19:26, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey dude, thanks for the advice, man. But I think that the common name of the character has to be Michael Corinthos (The ABC site even says it) so thats my reason for moving it. So sorry for any problems I caused! So are you an administrator? Cause the move page said I should request someone to do it but anyway, thanks trumendously for the advice! PeaceOut Dude~ --Leslie Roak (talk) 00:04, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
